Players interested in playing with the Lakeside Pride Orchestra should contact us to be added to our roster. Please tell us your name, phone, email, instrument and summary of your music/performance experience.
String players are welcome without audition.
Wind, brass, and percussion positions are filled by audition, as needed. Wind positions (principle and second) rotate. Exceptions are high/low positions, i.e. brass and horns.
All members must pay dues.
Expectations:
- Because Lakeside Pride Orchestra welcomes players of all levels, we ask that all members come with the desire to become better musicians. With this in mind, we offer one-on-one tutoring and encouraging support.
- Each player is asked to attend rehearsals regularly.
Rehearsals: Tuesday evenings 7 -9:15 pm at the People’s Church. 941 W. Lawrence Ave., at Sheridan.

LPO Conductor Intern Project is open to conductors wanting opportunities for hands-on experience while receiving guidance and mentoring in the skills of conducting, rehearsals, and performance/musicianship. Interested persons should contact Kim Diehnelt.
LPO Concertmaster Apprentice Program provides violinists with training in the specialized skills demanded of a concertmaster. The Concertmaster Apprentice receives individual tutoring on orchestral performance and rehearsal skills, repertoire styles, communication skills, and leadership.
